Md. Sirajul Islam accomplished his B.S.S and M.S.S in Health Economics from University of Dhaka in 2015 and 2016 respectively. He has been working as a researcher in the health sector since 2017. He has experience in working with DGHS, DGFP, DGME, HEU, NIPORT, Institute of Health Economics, JICA, SNV, Concern Worldwide, Avenir Health, UNICEF, GK, Sajida Foundation, etc.

His research interest is in health care financing, economic evaluation, nutrition, family planning, hospital management, health insurance, health sector reform, reproductive and adolescent health, Universal Health Coverage, SDG, Poverty etc. Currently, he has been pursuing MPhil under the supervision of Professor Dr. Syed Abdul Hamid and Professor Dr. Nasrin Sultana in Institute of Health Economics, University of Dhaka.
